Termsand conditions.
The rules for buying and designing here, written to be understood: who sells to you, what you are buying, what happens if something goes wrong and what you can upload or publish.

What they apply to
These terms apply to your use of the website and the app, and to every order you place through them. By ordering you accept the terms published on that day, and those are the ones that apply to that order: if they change later, the change does not affect it.
If you buy as a consumer, nothing in them takes away the rights the law gives you.
What you are buying
A Canadian maple skateboard deck, printed to order on the underside with the design you make in the editor and in the size you choose when ordering. The deck comes on its own: griptape, trucks, wheels and the other parts are extras paid for separately. The griptape arrives fitted; the parts, unassembled.
One order is one design in one size, from one to 19 identical decks. Different designs go in different orders.
There is no print proof before production: what you approve is what you see in the editor and in the 3D view, and a paid order goes into production as it is. That view is an on-screen simulation, and on the wood the colours may come out slightly different.
Price and shipping
Each deck costs 89 €, VAT included. Shipping is free within Spain, and to the rest of the European Union it costs between 15 € and 25 € per order, depending on the country.
The total you pay — decks, extras and shipping — is the one you see at the last step, before paying, and there are no further charges afterwards. If you have creator credit in your account, it is deducted from that total automatically.
Which countries we ship to, what each one costs and which territories are excluded is explained on the shipping page: Shipping, timings and delivery area
If you need an invoice, ask us at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com, when you order or afterwards, and we will email it to you.
How to place an order
Everything happens on the website, with no account needed. If you design in the app, payment opens in the browser:
- You design the deck in the editor and choose the size.
- You add any extras, if you want them.
- You enter the delivery details.
- You see the total and pay.
- We email you the confirmation and the order number.
The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. The confirmation email is your proof of purchase, and the order is stored: you can view it again from the link in that email and, if you have an account, from your account.
Until you pay, you can go back and correct any detail. If you spot a mistake in the address or the design afterwards, email us as soon as possible: what can still be changed, and until when, is explained on the shipping and returns pages.
You can enter into the contract in any of the site's languages. All versions of these terms say the same thing; if a translation were to say something different from the Spanish text, the reading most favourable to you will apply.
Payment
Payment is made in full when you place the order, with the methods shown in the payment form, which depend on your country, and you are charged at that moment. Your card details go directly to Stripe, which processes the payment: we neither see nor store them.
Production and delivery
The deck goes into production as soon as payment is confirmed and leaves the workshop within 72 hours at most. In Spain it then arrives in 3–5 working days. Outside Spain we do not give a delivery time yet: we send you the tracking as soon as it leaves.
Until the deck reaches you, the risk is ours: if it is lost or damaged in transit, we put it right. How is explained on the returns page.
Right of withdrawal: when it does not apply and when it does
The deck you design is printed to order with your design, and it does not exist until you order it. That is why it has no right of withdrawal: it cannot be returned because you have changed your mind.
This is the exception the law provides for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised: article 103.c of the Spanish consumer protection act (Texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios), which transposes article 16.c of Directive 2011/83/EU.
You do have a right of withdrawal for what is not made for you: extras that arrive unassembled (trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware) and artist decks, which are sold exactly as their artist designed them and for which you only choose the size. Not for the griptape, because it is fitted to your deck and forms part of it.
You have fourteen calendar days from receiving it, and it is enough to tell us in writing at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com, without having to give a reason. You send it back to us within the following fourteen days, and you bear the cost of returning it. We refund what you paid for it, using the same payment method, within fourteen days at most from when you notify us; we may wait until we receive it or until you send us proof of postage. If you return the whole order, we also refund the shipping. You are only liable for any loss in value if you have used it more than necessary to check it.
If you wish, you can use the model withdrawal form provided by law: “To Surf Devils S.L., C/ Dr. Combelles 27, 25003 Lleida, skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: … Ordered on … / received on … Name and address of consumer. Date.”
And even though your deck has no right of withdrawal, you can cancel the order as long as it has not gone into printing, and we refund everything. How, and until when: Returns, refunds and cancellations
Statutory guarantee
Having no right of withdrawal does not take away the deck's statutory guarantee of conformity: we are liable for any lack of conformity that exists when we deliver it to you and becomes apparent within the following 3 years. If it arrives damaged, badly printed, with a manufacturing defect, or is not the one you ordered, you choose between us reprinting it at no cost or refunding you.
Wear from skating, knocks and the slight colour differences between screen and wood that we warn you about above are not a lack of conformity.
To make a claim, email us at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the deck exactly as it reached you.
What you upload to the editor
Whatever you upload or write — photos, logos, drawings, text — must be yours or you must have permission to use it. If we print your design it is because you commission it from us, and you are responsible for having the right to use what it contains.
The design remains yours. When you order a deck, you allow us to use it only for what that order requires: printing it, shipping it to you and dealing with any problem.
We do not print content that infringes other people's rights (copyright, trade mark or image rights), that incites hatred or violence, or that the law prohibits for any other reason. If an order contains it, we may cancel it, and in that case we refund you in full.
If you publish a design
With an account, you can make a design public so that it appears in the gallery. While it is public, anyone can see it, open it in the editor as a starting point and order a deck with it. You can unpublish it whenever you like.
If someone buys a deck that starts from a design you published, you earn creator credit. It is credit for your next orders in the shop, not money: it cannot be cashed out or transferred, and your own purchases do not count. It is confirmed a few days after the sale, in case that order ends up refunded or charged back, and if you delete your account, it is lost.
We may remove from the gallery any design that breaches these terms. If you see one that should not be there, let us know at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com.
Your account
You do not need an account to design or to buy. If you create one, you sign in with a link we email you or with Google, with no password. You can delete it whenever you want, from the app or by asking us at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com, and your designs and creator credit are deleted with it. Orders are kept, no longer linked to your account, for as long as the law requires us to.
The website and the editor
The website, the app, the editor, their texts and their templates are ours or used with permission. You may use them to design and order your decks, but not to copy them or to build another service with them.
We try to keep everything working at all times, but there may be outages or errors. If one stops you from completing an order or charges you something it should not have, email us and we will sort it out.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you buy as a consumer from another European Union country, you remain protected by the rules of your country that cannot be excluded by contract.
If something has not gone right, email us first at skateboardpersonalizado@gmail.com: we always reply. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can go to the consumer services of your town, region or country, or to the courts where you live.
