Custom Skateboard Decks in Europe: the Best Shops Compared (2026)

Eleven shops will print one deck with your photo or design and ship it inside the European Union. The cheapest is €49.90, the dearest €149, and the number on the product page is rarely the number you pay. This guide puts them side by side: price of a single deck, whether there is an online editor and where it ends, the printing technique they declare, griptape, EU shipping and sizes. Every figure was read on the seller's own page on 23 September 2026; when a shop does not publish something, the table says so instead of guessing.

Quick answer

  • Lowest price for one deck: Blankdecks.eu at €49.90 and Positivos at €49.97. Both take a finished file or a simple customiser; Positivos sells it as a decorative piece and says the warranty ends the first time it is skated.
  • Cheapest with an online designer: B-LAG Skateshop, €58.90 for an 8.5" birch deck with a printed film. Canadian maple sizes cost more inside the designer.
  • Most sizes: Custom Decks, eleven widths from 7.5" to 9.125", and MSB Distribution with ten.
  • Griptape in the price: only MSB Distribution. Everyone else sells it as an add-on or does not say.
  • EU shipping you can see before the cart: deckarts (free), B-LAG (€19.50 or €14.50), Eina (€9.50–€35.60 by country) and us (15 to 25 € per order by country, free in Spain). The other seven show it in the cart or by email.
  • An editor that ends in a paid order: ours is the only one where you compose the design in the browser — photos, text, layers, 3D preview — and the same file goes to print without downloading, emailing or re-uploading anything. It is not the cheapest deck on the list, and the table shows that.

What the headline price hides

Three things move the real total, and the product page tends to show only one of them.

Griptape. A deck for the wall does not need it; a deck you will ride does. Only MSB puts it in the price. B-LAG adds €4.50, Custom Decks €7.50 for plain or €24.95 for printed, and we add 9.95 € — so a rideable deck from us is 98.95 € in Spain, not 89 €. Four shops do not say whether it is included at all, which usually means it is not.

Shipping. This is where €49.90 stops being €49.90. Blankdecks ships free over €100 in Benelux and Germany, so a single deck to Spain or Italy pays a rate the site does not publish. Custom Decks is free from €200, which is three decks, not one. B-LAG's €19.50 turns €58.90 into €78.40 delivered. Only deckarts ships free to any EU address on one deck, at €140. Ours is 15 to 25 € per order outside Spain depending on the country, whatever the order holds, so one deck lands at 104 € in Germany and 114 € in Finland.

The file work. Seven of the eleven want a finished file: a 2700 × 9900 px JPG at Blankdecks, a Photoshop template at Skateboard Printing.eu and MSB, a Canva, PSD or AI template at Custom Decks. That is fine if you have the software and know what bleed is. Positivos, B-LAG, Eina and we have a designer in the browser; Eina's ends with "download the file and send it by email or WhatsApp", so the order still leaves the editor by hand. If you are buying a gift and have never opened a design tool, this column matters more than €10 on the price.

Where we stand, without spin

We are ninth of eleven on price for a bare deck: 89 € against €49.90 at Blankdecks, €49.97 at Positivos and €58.90 at B-LAG. Put griptape on and it is 98.95 €, above Eina's €89.95 bare deck. Anyone telling you we are the cheapest way to get a printed deck in Europe is wrong.

What the 89 € buys is the part nobody else on the list sells: the design is made in the browser, previewed on a 3D deck, and the print file leaves the editor already sized and bled for the printer. There is no template to download and nothing to send. The deck is 7-ply maple in 8", 8.25", 8.5", and the graphic is put on with UV inks on a transfer film. Shipping is free in Spain — 72 hours in the workshop and 3–5 working days in transit — and 15 to 25 € per order, depending on the country, to 24 other EU countries (all but Cyprus and Malta), where we publish no delivery time yet because the logistics partner is new and nothing has been measured. Griptape is +9.95 €; a wall mount and a complete ready-to-ride kit are not yet available. One order is one design and one size, in up to 19 copies, and there is no volume discount: from 3 decks you can write for a quote. Every figure in this paragraph is read from the same constants the checkout uses, so it cannot drift from what you would pay.

When another shop is the better choice

  • You want the lowest possible price for a decorative deck and already have the file: Blankdecks.eu or Positivos, at €49.90 and €49.97. Check the shipping line first if you are outside Benelux, Germany or mainland Spain.
  • You need a deck wider than 8.5": Custom Decks (up to 9.125"), MSB or Skateboard Printing.eu (up to 9").
  • You want griptape in the price and can prepare a template: MSB Distribution, €79.95 with grip included.
  • You want a designer and the cheapest ticket: B-LAG, €58.90 plus €19.50 shipping — a printed film on birch, not a print on maple, but a working designer that ends in the checkout.
  • You are ordering three or more identical decks: Custom Decks ships free from €200 and Positivos publishes quantity discounts. We do neither yet.
  • You want a wall piece with the mount in the box: Skate-Home includes two brackets and screws at €149. Our wall mount is not yet available; any standard mount fits the deck.

What to check before ordering

  • Material. "Skateboard deck" covers three different objects on this list. Most are 7-ply Canadian maple, the same construction as a deck from a skate brand. B-LAG's base price is a birch deck (maple costs more), Positivos states 8-ply maple, and Blankdecks, MSB and Eina do not say how many plies. If the deck might ever be ridden, look for "7-ply" and "maple" on the page, not in a review.
  • Printing technique. Three families. Heat or UV transfer (Photogift, us): the image is printed onto a film and transferred, and the film is not part of the finished surface. Direct UV print (deckarts, Skateboard Printing.eu): ink cured straight onto the wood. Applied film or sheet (B-LAG's "Folierung", Skate-Home's polypropylene sheet): a printed layer that stays on the deck. Custom Decks, MSB and Positivos describe the print quality but not the method, so ask. None of the three is wrong for a wall; for a deck you will skate, a printed sheet wears differently from an ink layer.
  • What is in the price. Griptape, a mount, trucks: assume none is included unless the page says so. MSB includes grip; Skate-Home includes brackets; deckarts, Custom Decks and we sell the mount separately or not yet.
  • Shipping and VAT. All eleven are EU-based, so the price you see includes VAT and there are no customs charges on arrival, which is not true of a deck from the US or the UK. But only four publish the shipping cost before the cart. Photogift lists deliveries to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany only. Put your address in and read the total before you design anything.
  • Image proportion and resolution. A deck is about 20–22 cm wide by 76–81 cm long: a canvas of roughly 1:3.7, and most 33" × 8" templates are close to 4:1. A landscape photo keeps only a strip. Shops ask for 2700 × 9900 px (Blankdecks), 3000 × 700 px minimum (deckarts) or 200–300 dpi at 9" × 33" (Custom Decks); in practice, at least 2,500 px on the short side or the print goes soft. How to design your own deck covers the crop.
  • Returns. A deck printed with your image is made to your specification, so the EU's 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it at any of these shops, whatever the footer says about returns on stock items. What you keep is the right to a remedy if it arrives damaged or not as ordered. Read that clause, not the returns page.

How we checked

Each row comes from the linked product page and the shop's shipping page, read on 23 September 2026. We compared one deck at the published price, not a promotion code or a bulk rate. Where two pages of the same shop disagree, the table carries the product page. We did not buy and test decks, so there is no verdict on print quality here; that would need samples from all eleven. If a shop corrects a figure, write to us and we will check it against their page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom skateboard deck cost in Europe?

On the pages we checked on 23 September 2026, one deck printed with your design runs from €49.90 (Blankdecks.eu) and €49.97 (Positivos) to €149 (Skate-Home), with most shops between €79 and €90. Ours is 89 € delivered in Spain and from 104 € to the rest of the EU. Add griptape if you will ride it and check the shipping line: only four of the eleven publish it before the cart.

Can I order just one deck?

Yes, at all eleven shops; none has a minimum. What changes with quantity is the shipping and the discounts: Custom Decks ships free from €200, Positivos publishes quantity discounts from 3 units, and we charge the same unit price from one deck to 19 in an order, with shipping charged once per order and a quote available from 3 decks.

Which shops have an online editor?

Positivos, B-LAG, Eina and Skateboard Personalizado have a designer in the browser. Eina's ends with downloading the file and sending it by email or WhatsApp. Photogift, deckarts, Skate-Home, Custom Decks, Skateboard Printing.eu and Blankdecks take an uploaded photo or a finished file made in your own software. Ours is the only one where the editor produces the print-ready file and continues straight into the checkout.

Is griptape included with a custom deck?

Only at MSB Distribution. B-LAG adds €4.50, Custom Decks €7.50 for plain or €24.95 for printed, and we add 9.95 €, so a deck to ride is 98.95 € from us in Spain. Photogift, Eina and others do not state it. If the deck is going on a wall you do not need it.

What is the cheapest custom skateboard deck in Europe?

Blankdecks.eu at €49.90 and Positivos at €49.97, both for a finished file or a simple customiser and both before shipping outside their free zones. Positivos sells it as a decorative piece whose warranty ends the first time it is skated. The cheapest deck with a full online designer is B-LAG at €58.90 plus €19.50 EU shipping. We are not the cheapest.

How much is shipping for a custom deck within the EU?

Four shops publish it before the cart: deckarts ships free, B-LAG charges €19.50 per order under €65 and €14.50 above, Eina €9.50–€35.60 by country, and we charge 15 to 25 € per order depending on the country — free in Spain, and no shipping yet to Cyprus or Malta. The other seven show the cost in the cart or on request. All eleven are inside the EU, so there are no customs charges on delivery.

Can I return a custom printed skateboard deck?

Not under the 14-day right of withdrawal: a deck printed with your image is made to your specification, and EU consumer law excludes personalised goods from it. That is true at every shop on this list. What you keep is the right to a remedy if it arrives damaged or not as ordered; at Skateboard Personalizado that means a full refund or a reprint at no cost, whichever you prefer.

Try the editor before you compare anything else

It is free, needs no account and does not make you buy. Upload a photo, add text, turn the deck in 3D. The price, the griptape and the shipping are all in the summary before anything is charged.
