Skateboard Wall Art in Europe: the Best Shops That Ship EU-Wide (2026)

A skateboard deck on a wall is either your own photo printed on maple, or a piece of art someone else made — and the shops that sell each are different shops. This guide lists nine that ship inside the European Union: what they put on the deck, what one deck costs, whether the wall mount is in the box, whether they sell triptychs, and what EU shipping costs when they say. Every figure comes from the seller's own page, read on 23 September 2026; where a shop does not publish something, the table says "not published" rather than filling the gap.

Quick answer

  • Your own photo, mount included: Skate-Home, €149 with two brackets and screws in the box. ArtDesigna includes a hanger too, but the "deck" is 4 mm tempered glass, not wood.
  • Your own photo, lowest price: Custom Decks at €79.95 and Skateboard Printing.eu at €79.99, both from a file you upload; the hang system is +€9.95 at Custom Decks. Ours is 89 € designed in the browser, free shipping in Spain and 15 to 25 € per order to the rest of the EU, depending on the country.
  • Art rather than your photo: Boom-Art from €95 for classic paintings and contemporary artists, deckarts at €140 for a custom print or its catalogue of museum reproductions, The Skateroom from €189 for artist editions.
  • A triptych with your own image: Skateboard Printing.eu at €219.99 for the three-deck set, or Custom Decks at €239.85 (three times the single price).
  • EU shipping you can see before the cart: deckarts (free), The Skateroom (free from €300) and us (15 to 25 € per order, by country). Photogift lists deliveries to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany only; four shops show the cost in the cart.

Two different products with the same shape

The first group — Custom Decks, Skateboard Printing.eu, Photogift, deckarts' custom deck, Skate-Home, ArtDesigna and us — prints an image you supply. You are paying for a print run of one, and the questions are the ones you would ask a photo lab: what is it printed on, at what resolution, and does it come ready to hang. Prices run from €79.95 to €149 for one deck.

The second group — The Skateroom, Boom-Art and deckarts' catalogue — sells editions of someone else's work: Basquiat, Warhol and Haring at The Skateroom, Klimt and Bosch at Boom-Art, Van Gogh and Vermeer at deckarts. You are paying for the licence, the edition and sometimes a signature, and the questions are a collector's: numbered or open, single or triptych, and who mounts it. Singles run €95 to €990 and triptychs €279 to €950.

The material is the same in eight of nine cases: a real 7-ply maple deck, the object a skater would bolt trucks to. Boom-Art says "handmade in France" without listing plies; ArtDesigna is the exception in kind, a deck-shaped panel of tempered glass with a hanger on the back. Both hang fine. Only one of them is a skateboard.

Where we stand, without spin

Our deck is 89 €, printed with your photo, text or design on 7-ply maple in 8", 8.25", 8.5", shipped free in Spain and for 15 to 25 € per order, depending on the country, to 24 other EU countries (all but Cyprus and Malta). That puts us above Custom Decks and Skateboard Printing.eu on the bare price, and the two shops that include a mount — Skate-Home at €149 and ArtDesigna on glass — cost more but arrive ready to hang, which we do not: our wall mount is not yet available, so today you buy one anywhere (they cost a few euros and every one fits a standard deck) or screw through the truck holes. How to hang a skateboard on the wall shows the three ways.

What we do that nobody else on this list does is let you build the picture in the browser: place the photo, add a name or a date, stack layers, and turn the finished deck in 3D before paying. Every other custom shop takes a file or a single upload and shows you a flat mock-up or nothing. Whether that is worth the difference depends on whether you already have the file. The graphic is put on with UV inks on a transfer film, and in Spain the deck leaves the workshop in 72 hours and arrives 3–5 working days later. Outside Spain we do not publish a delivery time yet — the logistics partner is new and we would rather say nothing than guess. A set of two or three decks is two or three orders on our site; if you want one image split across them, write to us before ordering and we will help with the split.

When another shop is the better choice

  • You want it ready to hang out of the box: Skate-Home (€149, two brackets and screws). If glass is fine, ArtDesigna ($133.99 with hanger).
  • You want a triptych of your own photo in one order: Skateboard Printing.eu (€219.99) or Custom Decks (€239.85, plus €9.95 per hang system).
  • You want art, not your photo: Boom-Art for the lowest entry price (€95–€98, triptychs €279), deckarts for museum reproductions with free EU shipping, The Skateroom for signed artist editions.
  • You want free EU shipping on one deck: deckarts, at €140 for the custom deck.
  • You want the lowest price on your own photo and have the file: Custom Decks at €79.95; the 7–10 working days to ship is the trade-off.

What to check before ordering

  • Material. "Wall art deck" is not a material. Seven of the nine say 7-ply Canadian maple, which is a rideable skateboard deck; ArtDesigna is glass; Boom-Art does not say. Wood at 80 cm long is light enough for any picture hook; glass at 4 mm is heavier and wants a proper fixing.
  • Printing technique. Direct UV print (deckarts, Skateboard Printing.eu), heat or UV transfer (Photogift, us), or a printed sheet applied to the wood (Skate-Home's polypropylene). Custom Decks describes the quality but not the method. For a wall any of them holds up; the difference is the surface — a sheet has an edge, an ink layer does not.
  • What is in the box. Mount included: Skate-Home and ArtDesigna. Mount sold separately: Custom Decks €9.95, deckarts €12.99, Boom-Art €10.50, Photogift as a +€9.95 version. Not mentioned: Skateboard Printing.eu, The Skateroom. Not yet sold: us. Griptape does not matter for a wall, and none of the wall-art prices includes it.
  • Sets. A triptych is three prints that only work together, so check the set price is not just three singles plus three mounts — at Custom Decks it is exactly that, at Skateboard Printing.eu the set is €19.98 less than three singles. Order all panels from the same shop at the same time; a reprint months later will not match.
  • Shipping and VAT. All nine are EU-based, so VAT is in the price and nothing is charged at the door; that is the difference from a deck bought from the US or the UK. But only three publish shipping before the cart, and Photogift lists just three countries. Type your address in before you fall for a design.
  • Image proportion and resolution. A deck is about 20–22 cm by 76–81 cm, a canvas of roughly 1:3.7; a 33" × 8" template is close to 4:1. Landscape photos lose most of their width. deckarts asks for 3000 × 700 px minimum, Custom Decks for 200–300 dpi at 9" × 33", ArtDesigna for 2000 px on the height; we recommend at least 2,500 px on the short side. High contrast reads from across a room; a pale photo disappears. Skateboard wall art ideas has examples by room.
  • Returns. A deck printed with your image is made to your specification, and EU law excludes personalised goods from the 14-day withdrawal right, so none of the custom shops will take it back because you changed your mind. Art editions from stock are different: The Skateroom and deckarts publish return windows. Either way, a damaged or wrong delivery is still on the seller to put right.

How we checked

Every row is the linked product page plus the shop's shipping or FAQ page, read on 23 September 2026. deckarts shows dollars to visitors outside Europe; its euro prices come from the EU store it redirects to. We did not order from the other eight, so nothing here rates print quality. If a figure is wrong, write to us and we will check it against the seller's page.

Frequently asked questions

Which skateboard wall art shops include a wall mount?

Skate-Home includes two brackets and screws with its €149 photo deck, and ArtDesigna includes a hanger on its glass version. The rest sell it separately: Custom Decks €9.95, deckarts €12.99, Boom-Art €10.50, Photogift as a +€9.95 version. Skateboard Printing.eu and The Skateroom do not mention one. Our own mount is not yet available; any standard skateboard mount fits our deck.

How much does skateboard wall art cost in Europe?

With your own photo, one deck runs from €79.95 (Custom Decks) to €149 (Skate-Home, mount included) on the pages we checked on 23 September 2026; ours is 89 € delivered in Spain and from 104 € to the rest of the EU. Art editions start at €95 (Boom-Art) and €189 (The Skateroom). Triptychs go from €219.99 for a custom set at Skateboard Printing.eu to €550–€950 at The Skateroom.

Can I put my own photo on a skateboard deck for the wall?

Yes. Custom Decks, Skateboard Printing.eu, Photogift, deckarts, Skate-Home and Skateboard Personalizado print your photo on a real 7-ply maple deck; ArtDesigna prints it on a deck-shaped tempered glass panel. Use a vertical, high-contrast image with at least 2,500 pixels on the short side; a landscape photo keeps only a strip.

Which shops sell skateboard triptychs?

With your own image: Skateboard Printing.eu (€219.99 for three decks) and Custom Decks (€239.85, three singles). With art: The Skateroom (€550–€950), Boom-Art (€279) and deckarts (diptychs and triptychs of its catalogue). At Skateboard Personalizado one order is one design, so a set is several orders; write to us before ordering and we will help split one image across the decks.

Is a wall art skateboard a real skateboard?

Usually. Custom Decks, Skateboard Printing.eu, Photogift, deckarts, Skate-Home and our own deck are 7-ply Canadian maple, the same construction a skater rides; add griptape and trucks and it works. ArtDesigna sells a tempered glass panel in the shape of a deck, and Boom-Art does not state the construction. Positivos, which is in our custom-deck guide rather than this one, says the warranty ends the first time it is skated.

Do these shops ship to every EU country?

deckarts ships free to the whole EU and The Skateroom free from €300; Custom Decks and Skateboard Printing.eu calculate it at checkout. Photogift lists deliveries to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany only. Skate-Home and Boom-Art do not publish it. Skateboard Personalizado ships to Spain and 24 other EU countries (all but Cyprus and Malta) for 15 to 25 € per order depending on the country, free in Spain, and refuses addresses outside the EU VAT area such as the Canary Islands.

How do I hang a skateboard deck on the wall?

With a skateboard wall mount, which holds the deck by its edges or by the truck holes it already has, or with two screws straight through those holes. A bare maple deck weighs about a kilo, so a normal wall plug is enough. Hang it graphic side out; the sanded side never shows.
